The 1937 Group represents and embraces the cannabis culture that has flourished for decades.
The 1937 Group, is a vertically-integrated cannabis company headquartered in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago, IL. Our team has extensive experience, a long-standing passion for the plant, and deep respect for the opportunity to cultivate quality cannabis products and distribute them through licensed retail outlets.
This is personal for us.
The company’s name, The 1937 Group, is inspired by the Marihuana Act of 1937. The Act was fueled by widespread racial discrimination - leading to the weaponization of the cannabis plant against Mexican-Americans and Black-Americans.
